Nikon diopter help

    Hi guys Im wondering which Diopter degree I need to buy for my near sighted vision.
    My prescription glasses is 2.25 so which Diopter should I get
    Ps I was gonna get a - 3 and balance it on my cameras own diopter but i read somewhere that nikon has their diopter set to - 1
