    Do all F100 serial numbers sold in the USA
    start with a US..... ??

    All Nikon gear sold in the US imported through "official" channels (whoever
    has the rights from Nikon to do so) have serial numbers beginning with US.
    You can buy grey market items here in th US, which are brought in via
    "unofficial" channels. Nikon USA will not honor grey market warranties,
    though.

    BTW, please forgive our friend who posted obscenities to you. It's sort of
    the village idiot--not nice to have around, but then, what's one to do . . .
