I got a used FE2 from ebay recently. When I opened
the back of the camera, the frame counter didn't
go back to 'S'. It actually goes back to a number
between 12 and 18 after a couple of tries. Did I
do anything wrong, or the camera needs to be fixed?

How much is the fix roughtly? Can I do it by myself?
    Thanks a lot.

Thanks. I tried but it didn't work. I even played with the hidden button
at the back and still couldn't make it work.

When I asked the seller, he said, 'works and looks perfect'. :(
I may have to take to a repair shop.

Even if it is easy to fix it will cost your a couple of hours for a
    repairman.
Why not send it back?.....was it very cheap?....so you have room for
    a repair?

Can't get it refunded. Apparently the guy lied to me. He said
'works and looks perfectly'. And the camera was repaired as early
as 1989. There is a sticker inside the camera. I paid $180 total.
$60 for such a repair is reasonable? I'll bring it to a repair store
    when I have time.
