Nikon TTL Flash Question

Discussion in 'Photography Chat' started by chuckwagon524, Feb 23, 2009.

  1. I know you cannot use older Nikon Sppedlights on newer newer Nikon DSLR cameras. However I have an SC-28 flash cord to mount flash off camera. On it are two connectors for SC-18/SC-19 cables. These look like PC contancts only they have 3 pin conductors in them. Could I link up older Nikon Speedlights with these, or do I risk damaging flash circuitry in my camera?

Was thinking I could make a low cost rig for product/still life photography, as the older Speedlights are pretty cheap used.
