Nikon View 6 Thumbnails Don't Show Actual Image

    I am having spurts with my Nikon View 6 software where the thumbnails are
    there but they say "JPEG" or "TIFF" but the pictures as thumbnail view
    themselves don't show.

    What causes this?

    Try opening View 6, Then look for "edit" on the tool bar. click it and
    select preferences. when the preferences dialog box opens click on
    "Thumbnails" and place a check in the "Re-create" box. That should do it.
    You might have to reboot the computer. Also make sure you have dedicated
    sufficient "Cache". I have mine set to the max, 100 MB and there never have
    problems. This should solve your problem.
