Besides your very rude top posting, YOU are the ONLY one kicking up a
virulent "I will have the last word in defense of all that is holy, and
all that is holy is the the last word and the last word is Nikon, Nikon,
    Nikon, Nikon, Nikon..."

Nobody said that "All that is holy" Nikon was inferior.

    1) A poster asked a question. Choice between two very good mid level
SLR's. (See my post of 29 Aug @ 54 minutes after the hour).

    2) IMO, they were both pretty equal, with the Canon having one important
feature that the other didn't. Period.

    3) You went on a defend mother Nikon rant and you have answered in form
for every post in this thread.

BTW: I don't care what he buys. Let him buy what suits him. I don't
    own either Canon or Nikon...

Does anyone think there is really an answer to this question. It's whichever
you feel comfortable with or meets your needs. They aren't identical, but
pretty close, and the lenses from both are as good as any other.

  9. I'm sorry, I wasn't commenting on any resemblance to the camera discussion
    that spawned this.

  10. No, but you spend a considerable amount of time wishing it would...
