    Good morning!
    I own a Nikon FM3A.
I've only got the 50mm lens which came with the camera, and would like
to get a good quality second hand zoom lens off eBay. I wonder if anyone
would be able to offer any guidance about what I should be looking for?
The camera is used for family holidays, da kids, landscapes, close-ups
of things that i like the look of, that type of thing!
I was thinking of roughly 80-200mm, with a macro zoom incorporated.
    Cheers

  2. Paul,

Go with the 80-200/2.8 Nikon zoom. Depending on budget, the lens is
incredible. I'd still recommend the push-pull zoom lens.

A very good lens! I've had Nikon 80-200's from back to the old f/4.5 and love
them. Though the f/2.8 is larger and weighs more, it balances well with my F4
's. If your FM3A (sorry, I don't know that model) doesn't have a motor, or
auto-winder, you may have to get used to a different balance point, but it's
still an excellent lens. Since there are a bunch of "digital" lenses coming
out, I'll bet that you can pick up one for MUCH less than I paid, when it
    first came out.

I've heard the Sigma 70-300 macro is a good all round lens at a reasonable
    price.
