NOT GOODBYE, just au revoir for a while

Discussion in '35mm Cameras' started by Tony Parkinson, Dec 12, 2003.

  1. As I have a job interview next week at the other end of the country, close
to my parents home, next week, I will be travelling up this Sunday and
remaining there through the holiday season before returning early in the new
year. As I will not have access to a PC for most of that period, I will not
be reading or posting to the Newsgroups after early Sunday morning (UK
time). Furthermore, as I anticipate completing the sale of my current home
and purchase of my new home early in January, I will likely be packing away
my PC in readiness for the move soon after my return so it may be that I
won't be around until late January or even February.

I just wanted to let the many friends and acquaintances I've met on-line
know that my absence is not another victory for the Troll lest anyone claim
    otherwise

All that it remains for me to do is wish each and every one of you and your
loved ones a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (and may Santa Canon fill
    your stocking with nice toys)

    "Happy Festivus"...

    Now repeat after me...

    "Serenity now, serenity now.."

    and

"Pins and needles, needles and pins, a happy man is a man that grins" :)

And the same to you and yours! All the best with the interview.

By sheer coincidence, I am also in the middle of some major changes
and am moving south from Yorkshire over the holidays. The move is
taking some time and I've already had a couple of long absences from
posting to the newsgroup ... but I expect to be settled in my new home
by the end of January 2004.

  9. I'm moving North, you're moving South, maybe we'll meet somewhere in the
middle and become the same person

Whadda you mean, "ain't related"? Didn't you know that Tony P and
Tony P are one and the same person?

That was something Dallas Dahms realised before anyone else ... I
thought we'd covered our tracks very well, but no-one can fool a
hyper-intelligent super sleuth like Dallas Dahms for long ...

    ;-)

That Spadaro guy isn't us, though. He's Tony S, so he's kinda
excluded from being Tony P ...

Then there's that Tony Blair guy ... you know, the US President's
lapdog ... he's kinda excluded too, because he's Tony B. Plus he uses
Colgate toothpaste, and Tony P uses Arm and Hammer.

To sum up, for those still awake at this time, *all* Tony Ps, wherever
they may be, are one and the same person.

    :-(
