    Hello,

I'm new to this so if I don't know the terms....

I was at a recent wedding where the professional photographer had some huge
flash 'umbrellas' set up and anytime someone used a flash camera, these
    would automatically fire supplementing flash.

I have a nikon coolpix 4300 and cannot add another flash, but I'm wondering
if I could find a handheld flash that would work independantly from my
    camera, augmenting my flash.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

  2. A slave flash, like those at http://www.srelectronics.com/ should suit
your need for extra flash (if their example images are correct). You
should read the info on how it works and check the reviews and
possible other slave flash reviews on those sites, or ask in the local
    photography store for more info.
