Well, today I got an advertising flyer for the Olympus cameras. It was
in a pack of misc. flyers with no specific addressing.

One thing in particular caught my attention -- a pair of photos
supposedly showing the benefits of their ultrasonic vibration of the
sensor filter to clear off the dust.

First off -- the "with dust" photo shows "dust" which looks more
like ink splats to me -- not like anything which I have seen on my D70
when I bothered to try testing for dust, nor like anything that I have
    seen in posted examples.

Second, the photo is a head-shot of a small girl, with the eyes
quite sharp, the forehead hair slightly out of focus, and the side hair
    *way* out of focus.

Given that you have to stop *way* down to make the dust show up,
and that you have to have the aperture fairly large to get that little
depth of field, it would seem that the "dust spots", were totally bogus.

Has anyone else gotten this flyer?
