Olympus OM 14 mm extension tube

Discussion in 'Olympus' started by Gijs Rietveld, Jun 10, 2004.

  1. Hello photo group,
Does anybody know if the Olympus OM 7 mm automatic extension tube lacks a
spring for the aperture simulator and setting, or is mine broken?
It looks to me that there is no room for it.
    Thanks in advance, Gijs

Breathe easy. I thought the same when I got my auto tube as well.
There is no spring in the 7mm auto tube like there is for the 14 and 25.

    I've got a Kiron 2x multiplier that also doesn't have a spring, a Vivitar 2x
7 element variable macro converter that doesn't
    and
a cheap Vivitar 2x-21 converter that does have a spring. Go figure that
    one.
