I am very interested in the Fuji F10 with its high film speed abilities,
however I question using a camera without an optical viewfinder. I
currently have a small digital with optical as well as the lcd,but find
framing pictures difficult using only lcd. Is this something one gets
used to or is it a fatal flaw?

  2. Hi there,

I use 2 DSLRs most of the time, but always carry my Fuji F10 in my
    pocket wherever I go.

The speed and image quality is great, and I find no problem not having
    an optical viewfinder.

The viewfinder is much larger than some other compact digitals I've
seen, so it is quite easy to see enough detail in the shot for
    composition.

Here is a link to some non commercial shots using the Macro mode.

With the exception of the church images, the other images were all
    taken with the F10

Hope this helps. I wouldn't be without my F10
