That was me impersonating him. We wanted to get Annika1980 set up for a
pot bust and had to set the stage.

In retrospect, I should have confessed. Sorry Rich...

Thanks for the gallant effort but I was hoping to ignore the post.
I smoked pot in 1998 when that was posted and I still smoke pot. Come
to think of it, I've smoked pot all the back to 1968.
Big deal. Now if that changes any ones opinion of me, so be it.

These trolls are cowards, no need to encourage them, although I would
surely teach them some respect given a chance. Not one of the trolls
would ever make a comment like this face to face... cowards indeed.

Maybe someone should alert the "authorities" that there have been countless
deaths from alcohol poisoning but, to date, not one death from an overdose
    of pot.

I don't know about you, but it seems pretty clear to me that a drunk asswipe
like you is far worse than any pot smoker.

You have my complete respect. A few of the more important people I've
met through the course of my life have smoked. They were all completely
normal people and except for being a bit brighter and harder working
than is the norm, you'd never know their 'deep dark secret'.

Hats off to you for your honesty, Rich.

The Tennesse cops wouldn't take you away for injecting silicon into
squirrel scrotums, so we here at the Animal Defamation League were going
to get you in some other way. We had to stop the abuse.

    Forgive me.

If you spent as many sleepless nights as I have, being haunted by those
pictures of the freezing, helpless deer with the PhotoShop Phartes,
you'd snap too. Somehow I justified it all by telling myself "He LIKED
    the BATHTUB SHOT!"..

    No, of course not.
Gotta love the way our troll thinks everyone else is as cowardly as he
    is.

  11. A lot better (and more intelligent) than a pack and a half a day of
cigarettes for 30 years, which is what I did.........

Smoking Mary Jane is a criminal activity in most countries and for good
reason. Getting high, regardless of how you do it, is an escape from
one's standard faculties and in many cases losing one's faculties is a bad
thing. Women open themselves up to rape. Men do stupid things.

I agree, smoking pot may seem harmless when compared with drinking liquor,
but based on personal experience, as well as hearing the experiences of
others, it is not as harmless as pot-smokers would have you believe.

Back in the dark days of apartheid SA, like most other white males I was
conscripted for military service for an initial period of two years. It
was customary for us conscripts to hold what we called a 40-day party just
prior to being discharged (no, the party didn't last for 40 days - we just
staged it 40 days before our service ended!).

On the event of my 40-day party I indulged in a little bit of "harmless"
smoke. We also had a fair amount of alcohol before we moved out to
celebrate that evening. I don't remember leaving the house. I don't
remember going anywhere. But I woke up on the back of a truck, 40kms from
where we had started the evening at sunrise the next day. Harmless smoke?

I generally have a very strong resistance to drugs of any kind, but on the
few occasions I gave into peer pressure and had a "toke", my experiences
were horrible. If I can spare my kids that experience by helping to keep
MJ a banned substance, I will gladly do that any way I can.

Substance abuse is a bad thing, regardless of the form it takes.

I think pot is a little like broccoli. Not many people really like
it, but if broccoli was illegal, the stuff would be going for $1,000 a
pound. Nothing, but nothing, kills as many people as food. Obesity is
epidemic, heart attacks from clogged veins, ulcers, choking, allergies, to
say nothing of the cures. Should be banned. Bob Hickey

  16. Hummm......Just like drinking alcohol.....Right?

But.....But......It doesn't wreck your liver, right?
    smoke?

But was it the smoke, or the liquor? - Or both? - I guess we'll never know
    for sure, will we?

I agree with this......But I like to go to a nice French restaurant every so
often, (maybe three or four times a year) and kill 1/2 a bottle of good wine
with my dinner. Should I have to give this up because there are some
dingbats who drink themselves into oblivion and get behind the wheel of a
two ton vehicle and kill someone?

I am hooked on cigarettes. I have been on the wagon for the last twenty
years. I know if I smoke just one, I'll be back on 1-1/2 packs a day in a
week. But I wouldn't ban them, because I also know people who can smoke one
cigar a month, enjoy the hell out of it, and not become addicted to it. I
have the good sense to handle my addictions my way, and I think I should
give others the opportunity to handle theirs, their way.

  17. Broccoli is good for you.....one drink a day is good for you. (according to
the heart specialists) It could be that smoking a joint every day is good
for you too. (at least, I wouldn't be surprised) The only reason alcohol
isn't illegal is because the government makes a bundle in taxes off of it
every year.....If they could do the same thing with marijuana, they would
legalize it in a NY minute......I don't know why they don't.......Probably,
they are waiting for Barbara (just say no) Bush to die......

    I fully agree.
Then you might want to report his ass. His name is Rich Posiadlik
and he lives in Portage, Indiana. He has admitted here that he has
been a drug using criminal since the 60's, he still continues to break
the law, and he has no desire to stop.

Drop a dime on that dope head so he is forced to rat on his dealers.

Not to mention the utility of the rubber bands that hold it together in the
supermarket. If Alan ate more of it, he wouldn't have to search the camera
stores for the expensive ones to hold his single-use camera to his tripod.

"Yeah, I smoked in another life, but I never exhaled."

But I do have lots of asperagus rubber bands. These are great! (And
should be... last bunch of asperagus was about CAD$4.95 a pound and
after breaking the stems the yield was on the order of 1/3 ... so closer
to $15.00/Lb once in the steamer... luxury food.)
