I am having audio/video sync problems burning DVD's from AVI files.
The AVI files are made in Adobe Premier 6.0 (exported to an AVI file).
We are making our own home movies and they are about 1 hour 50 min
    long.

    AVI File size:
    Part 1: 10,500,000 kb
    Part 2: 13,218,000 kb
When we burn Part 1 and 2 on a single DVD, it starts playing fine, but
after 30 minutes into it, you can notice a audio/video sync problem.
It gets worse and worse until the end.

Interesting note: When I play the movie using Windows Media Player or
in Premier, there are no sync problems. Its only after it has been
burned to a DVD that we see the out of sync problems…

    Hardware:
We have a Dell Inspirion 8500 with a built in Philips DVD+RW SDVD6004
with 512M ram and Windows XP Professional (SP1).
Software: Windows XP Pro (SP1), Adobe Premeir 6.0, NeoDVD to burn the
DVD's, we've even tried Nero 6 to burn them. Same problem.

We're spoken to Dell and they've told us that there are no drivers for
the Philips (theyre built into XP)

Anyone have this happen to them? Please let me know, as I'm sure
others will be interested in this type of problem as well…
