    excuse me????

Asking about places to purchase online products - and getting sensible
answers is a valid and useful thing to do.

It helps boost sales for online retailers who deliver good products and
services, and it helps to weed out the charlatans and rip-off merchants.

Yes as I live near London - I will be visiting many retail shops. What I
was hoping for was to hear the recommendations from the experienced
    community at the NG.

So please point out why you post such a rude reply???

No it is not IMO, online shops are only cheaper due to the fact that they
don't need to pay the running costs of a retail shop, if people don't
support retail shops there will soon by few shops left were people can go
and view, ask question or even try out the product etc.

By all means use the web to find retail outlets (shops and dealers were you
can actually visit) and who stocks the best product / price but please
remember that on-line Ware-Houses are going to kill off the 'personal
    service side of retail shopping.

What was rude about what I said ?

No. I call a spade a spade, that is not being rude, it's called being
direct. If some people find it rude then it says far more about them than it
    ever does about myself.

Having read some of your other posts I guess Malcolm is right : <"You are
addressing Jerry, it's what he does. Live with it. ;-) ">

I take your point about retailers - and I agree. I did not expect to find
this cam at an online clearance warehouse, I guess what I was hoping for was
recommendations for useful retailers or indeed online merchants who are
currently discounting, and maybe this NG has links with.
