    Hi,
Can someone please tell me the size of the thread on the lens/adapter of a
Panasonic DMC-FZ20? I want to buy a polarizer for my camera but the camera
    won't arrive till 6th November.
Any places that are cheap to buy filters over the net? Preferably in
    Australia...
    Thanks heaps,

I don't see anything in the users manual that explicitly gives the thread
size but it appears to be 72mm. This is based on a) measurement and, b)
the optional Neutral Density and "Protective" filters are designated
    DMW-LND72 and DMW-LNC72.

    Hi Justin,

Congrats on your new camera. It is a awesome lens with a nice camera
    attached!

You can not directly attach a filter to the front of the lens. The camera
comes with a "lens ring" on the end of the lens barrel that must be removed
and an adapter (I have a Pemaraal PD62 adapter) attached. Then you can
attach a filter to the end of the adapter. More information can be found at:

I have no affiliation with them, but have had great service from them. Be
sure and check out the following forum for lots of information about your
    new camera:

    Hope this helps.
