    So where in that cite does it say Hoya or Pentax is losing money?

    5 years. 10 years. 25 years. Who cares about such speculation? Do
    you really care or is this just an attempt at a conversation starter?
    Why not ask how long Sony's P & S sales will subsidize their
    Playstation division?
