people spend hours to save a dime and zero to find out about the company

It is hilarious to see people spend hours to squeese every cent they can
from a purchase but fail to spend even 10 minutes on something like
www.resellerratings.com. What keeps crooks in buisness is greedy fools who
are blinded by the possibility of saving a nickel and lack foresight to
follow through on a company background check.

More power to the thiefs, keep emptying out the pockets of idiots.

And don't think that some of these less than reputable on-line stores
haven't figured out that they can stack the deck in their favor, too.

Just have a few dozen friends and relatives post a bunch of glowing reports.

One store was so obvious. All the good reports had the same phrases over and
    over.

Use B&H's prices as a benchmark.

Someone beats them by a lot be prepared to be dragged over the coals.

One store used to try and charge extra for a USA warranty for Quantum
    Battery packs.

    Guess where they're made?

    Noo Yawk!!!

If it seems too good to be true... it probably isn't true.

    Happy Holidays, Dan

The bigger fool assumes that email address is even a valid one.

  5. I guess he assumed you abided by the rules of your newsserver, especially
    this one:

    "Accurate Sender Address
The e-mail addresses in From:, Reply-To:, and Sender: fields must belong to
you and they have to be valid. Using identifiers of other individuals
without their permission or e-mail addresses that will bounce is not
permitted. (For more details see paragraph 5.3 of the FAQ.)"
