A poster here not too long ago asked about creating their own
    photo book.

I found a cheap, effective product:
    Epson StoryTeller Photo Book Creator

    http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/...&oid=-12741&category=Paper+&+Media&cookies=no

It costs $30 U.S. for the 8x10" 20 page hardcover book, not bad.
Also included is an app for easily putting it all together in case you're
    not so photoshop friendly.

Paper is Epson's Premium Glossy Photo Paper.
Also comes with 2 sheets for the book's jacket about 28" long (front & back
    cover).

The finished product makes a nice coffee table book. Though, only printed on
every second page. re: open book, right side has your image/s & text
    (optional). Left side
is blank (back of previous page).

All in all, even if you toss the cd it's a deal at 30 bucks + ink.

I bought softcover books from MyPublisher.com for $20 and pictures printed
on every page with captions and die cut cover.

Also check out http://www.lulu.com. Looks like they have a wide range
of such services, print to order at very reasonable prices. They even
have a direct link-up with Amazon.com zShops for marketing and sales
online. Haven't done anything with them yet, but I plan to.
