You know, the kind that records key words, etc., in helping you archive your
images, both digital and "hard" copy slides and negatives?

    Here's one: http://pages.zdnet.com/pkzsoftware/index.html I can't find much
on the web about it, though, and I'm afraid at $69.95 it might not be as
robust, or well supported as I need. This isn't just for me, mind you, I'm
researching this for the Michigan Department of Agriculture's needs, which
    are greater than my own.

    Thanks!

    Try Extensis Portfolio. http://www.extensis.com/en/products/
The basic version is $200. Server versions vary depending on your needs,
but tend to cost several thousand dollars. You can download a 30 trial
    version from their website.

Check out the line of products from Extensis. I am using an earlier version of
Portfolio, and it works very quickly, with many options for settings. They also
offer many products that will work well in a network environment.
