    Hi,

I've been reading some of the posts in this group and clicking on the
photography links to check out the images and the websites. I must say that
I'm totally impressed with some of your work. A lot of you are talented
    photographers!

I was wondering if you could check out my portfolio too and comment on them
if you have any. I'm interested in all kinds of feedback no matter how
brutal they are. So, don't hold back. Tell it like it is because that's what
I appreciate the most. Also, some of my photos demonstrate some post editing
work in PhotoShop. Nothing too tricky, but just enough to make people wonder
how it was done. In my opinion, the Photography / PhotoShop imagery I
created is tame compared to others I've seen, but would like to hear your
comments anyhow, because I'm self-taught in both mediums.

Lastly, but not least, you might notice on my omp page that I'm managing
some models. Basically, my main focus is to help them get paid modeling
assignments and make sure their portfolios are showing a natural progression
of work, styles and experience. If you're interested in working with any one
of them for a commercial, non-nude project, shoot an e-mail and it'll be
    considered.

    TIA and Regards,
    Gojo (a.k.a. Joe K.P.)

Just a quick comment on your model pix.... watch 2 things: 1) keep joints
with a little bend in them, for some reason when a model locks out her arms
they just don't look "right" 2) watch shooting models straight on (you only
did that in a couple shots btw), pointing their hips in one direction then
bringing their shoulders back creates much nicer lines. Overall I like your
portfolio, I hope you take the criticisms I gave in the way they are meant.

Brutal, eh? You suck! ;) Just kidding, your work is superb, and very
flattering to the models. The lighting is excellent. I also love your
landscapes and ad work - beautiful stuff.

Good work, and welcome to the newsgroup!

Those are things I often forget myself, especially about the hips and
    shoulders - good reminders!

Lol. Thanks Mike, I appreciated your candor and the welcome to the group.
It's nice to feel welcome in a group of hardworking and talented
visionaries. Your work is beautiful. I'm astounded by the breadth, quantity
and the quality of your images. I feel like I've already visited Seattle and
met some nice folks. I like what I see. Thanks for giving us a view!

Oh sheesh, you flatter me. ;) Thanks, I'm glad you like it, but the
website is badly in need of an update (I'm working on it!), and your
comments really make me want to get on it because a lot of that work is just
plain *old*. Anyway, your modeling pictures in particular are outstanding
and inspiring, and give me a lot of motivation to keep improving that aspect
of my own work (it's my most recent discipline, and I'm learning all the
time from others). Thanks for showing us your stuff.

Constructive comments and a valuable reminder -- that's how I took your
comments David. Thank you for that. The same comments I gave to Mike Kohary
apply equally to you as well and I'm sure to others in this group. I have to
admit, I was surprised when I visited your web site. After reading your list
of credits on your omp page, I expected to see something else. Instead, I'm
greeted by a down home, community friendly web site and I thought to myself,
"now here's a guy who has one foot planted squarely in his community and the
other foot in the industry". That's exactly how I want to be positioned in
    2005, and beyond.
