I ordered Photoshop Elements, and it will be delivered on Friday. What
reference books and/or tutorials do you recommend?

I assume that there will be a reference document on the install disks,
but I much prefer having hard copy, so I'm willing to but a dead-tree
    book or books.

Scott Kelby's books are excellent; I believe the latest Elements book
concerns PE3 but it probably is quite applicable to PE4 if that's what you

I purchased PE3; PE4 hasn't been released for the Mac yet.

    Thanks. I'll look into them.

I just purchased Photoshop Elements 4 for Windows, and it had a good User
Guide book in the box. It is quite informative.

  8. Kazaa is a file sharing program. You break the copyright law, and as a
punishment are bombarded with endless amout of ads and spyware each time you
    use your internet browser.

And how, exactly, is Kazaa going to give me a recommendation for a
hard-copy tutorial and/or reference for Photoshop Elements?

Oh, good; I'll wait to see if PE3 for Mac has the same.

Thanks. Amazon and B&N have it; they also have The Missing Manual book.

That is one narrow interpretation. There is another version called
Kazaa lite which has no spyware. It's not a hard copy but I prefer a
soft copy pdf version any day of the week. I have it in the background
and type in the keyword I am looking for and there it is. Unlike my
    useful though unweildy photoshop bible.

There are some documents that are copyrighted for sure and that is up
to you but there is also a wealth of other documents that people
create. Eg. 20 top tips for photoshop elements....etc etc...

The Hidden Power of Photoshop Elements 3 comes with lots of free tools on an
    included CD.
