Has anyone been to one of the seminars ? It looks interesting but I'd like
some feedback before I plonk down $99.00 Is it worthwhile for an amateur ?

    Here's the link for review:

  2. I just went to this class last week. Ben's a great teacher, not too fast for
the beginners- or so I believe. And nearly enough new concepts for the more
advanced. Join NAPP, and get a discount on your admission.

And certainly look into Photoshop World in Florida this coming September.
The one in Feb. was great. The best thing is to hit up the instructors
between sessions for quick questions and suggestions not covered in their

Sorry, I've been traveling and out of the loop (I'll pay hotel phone rates
    to get my e-mail
but not Usenet) Ben is great, the class is really useful, well paced and
    well structured.
Not a lot of downtime, show up early to get a decent seat especially if you
    are going
with a group, and he sticks to the schedule religiously. The class would be
    worth it
if he didn't do anything more than the curves and color management

I'm looking forward to Miami Beach in Sept. Ben Willmore and Bert Monroy and
Russell Brown all at once? Could there ever be three more different
to PS? Throw in the all the others.....Photoshopworld is a great experience.

Join NAPP-- If you're going to PSW you get $100 discount on the conference
the membership is $99--- in other words, it's a wash, but you also get
    access to
the member goodies--- my favorite of which is the members only website

  4. If you join NAPP you also get the magazine which is pretty good too.
