PhotoshopThumbnail vs Original Thumbnail?

    Hi seniors,

    I have this burning question that is bothering me.

    Whenever I use Jeffrey's Exif viewer to get exif and thumbnail data, I come across 2 variants of the thumbnail image:

    Photoshop edited ones will show "Photoshopthumbnail".

    While the original photo will show "ThumbnailImage".


    After photoshop has edited the photo, is it still possible to retrieve the ThumbnailImage, instead of the Photoshopthumbnail?
