Anyone in the group have any experience with the Podmatic monopod sold thru
Adorama? Is it heavy duty enough for a F100 with a 70-300 lens or a light 645.
I've read the article linked to Adorama's sight but there is no mention of
weight recomendations or limits. It's size and weight are attractive for
travel and hiking, but this is the same reason I question it's ability to hold
a heavier load. If you have any experience with this monopod, please let me
    know.
    Regards,
    Gary

I have no experience with it, but it seems to me that your question has
more to do with the head you are planning to put on the pod, more than
    the pod itself.

Yes Rudy, it may. For travel probably a small ball head, maybe a Bogan 482 or
a little larger, but nothing with a quick release shoe.
