point and shoot

  1. Can anyone recommend a handy (fairly compact) approximately 3 megapixel
    point and shoot camera, or NG to find one???? I have a D70, but was
    looking for something for the wife, gosh I might even use
    it..HORRORS!!!! .Looked at Minolta Dimage XT, is that any good????

  5. The FZ5 is worth looking at. Same situation ... bought it for the wife ...
    and horrors, indeed, I like it and use it a lot and she now accuses me of
    ....

    I also carry my Sony V1 (5MP) and it is excellent. Don't limit yourself to
    3MP when the higher MP newer cameras are so good and so cheap.

    I also wanted something pocket size. Wound up with a used (refurbished) 4mp
    Pentax Optio on Amazon, and it's not a bad little camera. Check
    Overstock.com, too.
