price drop on Nikon

    Depends on whether they have been taken out of the Leica brown paper. Some
    products have never seen the light of day since manufacture and are quite
    old but still new.

    Then there is the remanufacture of old cameras in new product lines. Such as
    that seen when Nikon brought out the S2000. This was an old new product.

    Then there are also products brought in retro and rebirth designs.

    I dont know if that answers your questions but when price announcements are
    part of photography I am sure we will all flock to hear your wisdom, so till
    then please conform to advertising an AD flag on your message heading.
