Printing off Digital Camrera Clips?

  1. Is this possible?

I am in the market for a digital camera and want to know if you can print
frames, from the video shorts they take.

I think I see what you seem to be thinking, but why would you want to do that
unless your trying to capture something like a flawed golf swing?
Most frames are of not too good quality even in the best of cameras.

    Is this possible?
I'm sure it's possible but the pictures are going to be terrible in
    quality and very very small.

  4. The resolution of video from digicams isn't good enough for decent prints.
Many digicams can make short burst of pictures (typically 3 to 5 in a
burst). This might achieve what you are after.

Richard: Years ago, like 1997 or so I bought a video capture board from
Quantra. It is the WinVision Pro. That was when half a megabyte cameras
were selling for $300. Anyway, I could use a VHS or higher quality camera
on that and get full size pictures. I never did use only my VHS camera but
that would give me full size pictures and that were certainly not the best
but if reduced to one forth the monitor size, they would be pretty sharp.
You might want to look into a video capture board for you camcorder and see
if that would give you sharp enough pictures. I now have an Epson 2450
flatbed that I use for scanning regular pictures but I still have the old
computer hooked up with that video board. You can still buy them as their
website is still up, but there are probably better boards out there. I know
what one guy said that the pictures would be really small. I also have the
Dazzle video creator and that does the same thing only takes really small
worthless pictures. If you are looking for quality, I would look to a
professional type video capture board. Ric in Wisconsin. P.S. If you
would like to see a picture from the Win Vision Pro I can send you one but
remember it is only from a VHS camera.
