Has anyone had any experience with projection lenses:
BRAUN Ultralit PL 2,4 / 90 mm MC
    or
    BRAUN Ultralit PL 2,8 / 85 mm B-MC ?
They are both supposed to be good belonging to the "Profi-Line". What i know
is that the second has a build in iris diaphragm. The price is the same. Are
there any differences in sharpness, contrast and colour rendition ? I'd be
    gratful for any observations...

  2. I have no direct knowledge of them. The iris diaphragm will presumably let
you trade sharpness for brightness; that is, stop it down and it gets
sharper (even with a curved slide) but less bright.

I know that most slide projection lenses are not very good. Schneider makes
some good ones; maybe Braun does too.
