Hi, wiped the computer and need to start again. Unfortuneatly, I lost
    the MGI Photosuite 4 disk.
I am comfortable with the program and realy like it. I did find a
listing for the photosuite 4 business edition cheap. I wanted to make
sure that all the features that the regular version 4 had will still be
there. (I've read that later versions like version 5 lost many
    TIA, mes.
p.s. amazon said that the business edition also supported linux. True?
or more of amazon's bogus info.

  2. MGI Photosuite 4 is very old.
I had MGI Photosuite 8 in the late 1990's, and it wasn't the latest version
    when I bought it.
I thought I still had the CD here somewhere, and I was going to say that as
I never use it anymore, I would be happy to post it to you if you're in the
UK, but when I searched for it, I could only find the content disc that
accompanied it. I appear to have mislaid the actual programme installation
If it turns up, would you like me to pop them both in the post to you?

I live in the USA and airmail would probly be pricey. Thanks anyway.
I can get the version 4 business ed for less than ten bucks. Just not
sure if I want it. mes.

  4. Sounds like a good excuse to upgrade to Photoshop or Elements if you ask me.

Well, I have a photoshop program, but it won't run on my 98se. I'm not
realy wanting to spend the next 5 years learning it though.
I know photosuite. It runs with xp if I need a new computer some day.
I will never get a vista computer. Never. mes.

Photoshop does run on Win95, Win98, but not CS2 and CS3. And all Windows
are the same you don't need to spend 5 years learning how to use WinXT or
Vista. I don't suggest you to go for Vista either, but since you still
stuck on Win98 then the chance for Vista to wait for you is pretty slim.

well, I was refering to "photoshop" when I mentioned that I didn't want
to spend five years to get as proficient with "it" as I am with
photosuite. I can run photosuite in my sleep.

BTW, just for grins I tried installing a 5 year old photoshop program
that a friend lent me but it would not instal. mes.

Well, we are talking 5 years of earning experience not getting 5 years old
    program to run <bg>
