Need input from those of you who have them.

How well does this adapter work with 150 ohm microphones ?

Using a awkward makeshift one now and would like to streamline things
    a bit.

    Thanks

Mine works great on VX2000, Panasonic EZ30U, and even TRV11 with a variety
of microphones including several dynamics in the 150-250 ohm catagory.

However, if you have any possibility of running a condenser that requires
48VDC phantom power, you may want to look into a model that provides that.
    Beachteck has one I believe.

Studio 1 has two different types. Their 'pro' is a transformer, and works
fine with low-z mics... but of course, low output mics tend to reveal the
noisy preamps in most miniDV cameras.

Their standard (not 'pro') line doesn't have a transformer, it's just an
unbalancing circuit. Going into a mid impedance miniDV input may be even
noisier, particularly if there's a long cable in a typical shoot
    environment.
