Quality of Qualex/Kodak for Fuji Film?

Discussion in 'Kodak' started by Thomas T. Veldhouse, Sep 27, 2005.

  1. Can anybody post their experience with Qualex/Kodak E-6 development for
Fuji film; in particular Sensia, Provia and Astia? I have several
mailers for Fuji and A&I, but I have recently found that my local Costco
sends out to Qualex for a decent price with 4-5 day turn around.

    Thanks!

I have used them for Sensia and all seemed well. Can't comment on Provia
    or Astia.

The last time I used Qualex for slides, they scratched the hell out of them.
Never again. It doesn't hurt that I can get 36 exposures done in an hour
    for $7 locally.

I had one of the most expensive and highly rated pro labs in Austin
scratch my slides twice. It happens. It should not happen but it does.
Only once out of hundreds of rolls has this happend to me in the EU. I
guess is has to do with enjoying your job or just working at a camera
store lab because you need a job.
