Query for Panasonic FZ20 users

Discussion in 'Panasonic Lumix' started by Dave Gillingham, Mar 8, 2006.

  1. I can find no setting that records a date/time stamp on my photos that shows up
on images when I download them to my computer. If anyone has an answer, please
give me the procedure in idiot proof steps. A manual page reference would be
nice, too. I've read it countless times but can't find (or have simply missed)
    a reference.

    not familiar with the panasoninic's
but i do know the date time etc is
    recorded in the images metadata
    (all digicams do it)

if you view pictures with windows image
and fax viewer right click on the image
then select the summary tab, that will
show you all the image info, including
time date, exposure and so on

  3. What I wanted was the image on the screen with date/time displayed in one corner
of the image. My little Nikon Coolpix has that option. I thought my FZ20 did
the same thing until a friend fiddled with my settings shortly after I got it.
    But perhaps I'm mis-remembering.

The only thing that I could find in the FZ20's user guide was a "PRINT
WITH DATE" option when you are sending your images to a printer. If you
switch this option ON, then the date will be printed as long as this
feature is supported by the printer. See page 101 or thereabouts of the
FZ20 user guide for more details.

  5. Yep, that's all I could find too. I was hoping I had been dumb & missed
something that someone else could point me to.
