    Hello, Patrick

Slowly I'm going the vit C route - and I'm likig what I see.

But I have some doubts re not using sulfite:

    - How much are keeping proprieties impaired (or not improved)?
This is important to me since I may go for weeks without exposing any
film, an I wouldn't like to be a victim of 'sudden death'.
    - There were some tests done by James (Theory of the Photographic
Process) in which emulsion speed was significantly enhanced by adding
    sulfite to ascorbic acid.
Is there any film speed loss (or lack of possible gain) by not using
    it?
    - And finally, if it's used in moderate quantities (say 30g/L of
working solution), which would be the negative sides (besides cost)?

    Thanks,

    Jorge

  2. You must be more than fifty miles from home and carrying a briefcase - that
