Quick question from Panasonic DS29 owner – worth upgrading to JVC DX25?

    Hello all.

I own a Panasonic NV DS29 mini DV camcorder and am considering
"upgrading" to a JVC GRDX25EK but want to know if it's worth it.

I am interested in it because it is a smaller model than the DS29 but
I am not sure if it is worth the jump. My questions are:

1 Does the DX25 have a higher picture resolution than the DS29?
Although I have the manual for the DS29 I cannot find the line
resolution mentioned anywhere. I think the DX25 has 520 horizontal
    lines.

2 Has anyone ever used both cams and if so how would you compare on
issues such as perceived picture quality, audio quality and physical
    design (weight)?

I have read reviews of the DX25 and wonder if moving to it from a DS29
is actually a **downgrade** in specs and quality (the DX25 does not
have a front mounted lamp for example). I am not too concerned about
this if the picture and audio is better with the DX25.

I do not want to spend too much on a new model and the price and size
of the DX25 is very appealing. Thanks for reading and thanks for any
    ideas.

    Drew
