    updates:
PENTAX PHOTO BROWSER/LABORATORY VERSION 3 UPDATE (AUGUST, 2006)
PENTAX PHOTO BROWSER LENS UPDATE (JULY, 2006)

And for those with DS's download the remote assistant software for the D,
works great on the DS and downloads photos direct to your PC.

I just noticed that the new pentax photo browser and laboratory tools
state that they are powered by SILKYPIX. Was this always the case or is
    this new from version 3?

Has the Remote Assistan been updated?
I downloaded soon after I got the *ist-DS (nearly two years ago), but it
seemed very *ist-D centric, and some functions didn't work

    Deep.

No I don't think so. Yes it is for the D and a few things do not work, the
    major ones do though.
