Following a previous posting I looked a using rechargeable batteries in my
camera and was told that the new NiMH batteries have to have their capacity
match the capacity of the charger.

i.e. if I use 2100mAH batteries the charger must be rated as 2100mAH as
    well.

As the higher rated charges cost a lot more I wondered if this was true?

I posed this very question to the Tech Dept of the manufacturer of a charger I
bought recently and the answer was no problem but for the higher capacities allow
a longer charge time than stated for the lower capacity.

    cheers
