    HI,

I bought my wife the Canon A80 for X-Mas to replace our aging Fuji 1.3
megapixel camera. We have a handful of photo editing programs that are 3 to
4 years old and she's never been really happy with them. They either don't
have enough editing features or are hard to use. Can you recommend one or
two that includes a ton of features or at least does a great job editing and
easy to use for a newbie while not costing a fortune.

    Thanks

RM: Yes, get Photoshop if you can. It's the real thing and is also
easier to use and get expert assistance with.
Version 4 would be fine, but I wouldn't go back any earlier.

photodeluxe is easy to use but doesn't have much functions. I think
elements is the best compromise as there are some auto functions inside,
yet allow you to do things manually.

Photoshop would not be a good choice at all for someone who is 'pc
illiterate'. Heck, it intimidates people who ARE good on a pc. Elements or
Paint Shop Pro might be a better choice.
