Haven't been keeping up with camcorders for a few years now. I
remember back in the day Sony had a very small one that fit well in my
hands and was pretty light. It was something like model TRV90 or
TRV94? It was a 3 CCD? Are there any nowdays that are good 3CCD mini-
dv ones that fit in the palm for like no more than 500 bucks? Thanks.

  2. You may be thinking of the TRV-900, nice in its day (3-CCD,
but not super small or cheap), but why not add $300 or so and
jump to much higher image quality than Mini-DV with the wonderful
Canon HV20 or 30? (See for more [and/or look it up on google],
    www.donferrario.com/ruether/canon_hv20.htm). BTW, if you are
looking for a fairly compact and high quality *Mini-DV* model, I
have a Sony TRV30 in perfect, low-use condition, with box and all
    accessories, listed at www.donferrario.com/ruether/fs-camcorders.htm.
