    Hi folks

Well there's lotsa nice goodies in the RT basket these days. Canopus have
been trotting round Oz with their RRT2 and Edius roadshows lately, but I am
prompted to ask a simple question ...

Has anyone using an OHCI 1394 card yet succeeded in obtaining usable
reliable full frame rate DV preview output from Vegas, such that a project
could be put to tape (whether digital, or via camcorder to S/VHS VCR/s)
    direct from Timeline no rendering.

What speed CPU, how much RAM did you need?

Enquiring minds and impoverished wallets want to know.

(I guess if Jerry Jones wants to tell us about MSP7 RT preview to DV, it'd
    be good to compare)

    Cheers

From what I've read, even the Canopus can't output realtime 1394, only
    realtime analog.
