Remote control for Fuji cameras

Fuji cameras such as the S304, S3000, S5000, S7000 etc all have the ability
to be used as a webcam. Is it a large step from that to taking a picture
    remotely using a Fuji?

Is it possible to control the camera from a PC to take a photo? I am aware
of remote capture for Canon cameras, but have not found anything for Fuji's.

  2. Fuji's.

Finepix S5000 is webcam only, no option for remote operation. dunno about
    the other models.
Maybe it's possible with different software, but not with the standard
    software.

Steve, I'm not fussed where it stores the photos. On the PC would be nice
    though.

I just figured that since it can take a heap of "photos" when in webcam
mode, someone might have figured out how to control the camera to take a
photo when instructed to by the computer when not being used as a webcam.
