replace my Powershot A40

  1. Dear Group,

I have had my 2 MP A40 since May 2002. It has been alot of fun taking family
pics with this digital camera....fun after the firmware update to rectify
the blur on the specific zoom :)

I will pass along this camera to one of my kids.

I used AUTO and P, rarely M. I enjoyed having the Movie Mode. And I still
use Zoombrowser to 'organize' my pictures.

I would like a smaller camera which will produce excellent quality prints at
    an 8 by 10 size.

I would love for it to work better in low light. And any chance of getting
more than 3 X optical zoom in this smaller camera?

I would like to stay with Canon but if courser I am receptive to other
    excellent models.

    Thanks for your advice.
