Rollei/dedicated Flash?

Excuse an uninformed newby (to the list, not to photography) I've been
using a series of rolleis for years and never used flash. Now my
latest, a SL2000 wants a "dedicated" flash, according to the manual.
Does this refer to any flash which can respond to the electronic info
from the camera's exposure metering system? Or must it be a flash
"dedicated" in particular to that model of rollei ?
    Thanks, bill frogg

Any SCA System Metz, Cullmann or Osram flash will work with your
SL2000 and offer TTL auto flash control. You need to purchase the
    correct SCA adapter.

Use any (e.g. Metz) flash with the SCA 356 adapter for TTL flash
    metering.

Thanks to both posters for the info. That makes life simpler. I can now
go shopping for a flash. bill frogg
