Roxio Videowave won't sync video

    I am trying out the demo version of Roxio Videowave.

    I am using it with a Pinnacle PCTV card.

    I have tried using the tuner and composite video in, and both have the same
    problem:

    The displayed video does not seem to get horizontal sync? All the picture
    is diagonal lines. Other programs still display it ok.

    Any suggestions? I have made sure it is NTSC, not PAL.
