    Hi -

I have thousands of slides spread over a few different projects over
the next 12-18 months that I will be scanning. What I would love to do
is simply create jpegs and write them to a disc that is readable in
standalone DVD players. I know the compatibility depends on the
player, but I am wondering if anyone knows of a simple, no-frills
(i.e., no bg music and no transitions) way to make a "photo CD" in
which the viewer can just go through images with the keys on the DVD
player remote at their own pace. At this point, I am open to
suggestions on blank CD media or DVD media.

I apologize if this inquiry is being voiced in the wrong newsgroup.
I have posted in this group before with a decent amount of reply so I
thought I would try with this question as well.

    Thanks -
