I'm thinking of buying a fuji s5500. Any comments (good/bad!) about it
would be welcome please - is there a better unit in this price range?

Oh - any comments about ukdigital? Their prices seem extremely
aggressive, too good to be true?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. I've recently got one from:
    Kamera in Altrincham
    www.equipmentexpress.co.uk

No problems so far but I haven't had enough time yet. Battery life is
excellent and bad pics have all been my fault! ;-!

    I once had a S5000 ( the 'Early-S5500')
I missed a hotshoe / external flash connection
    and a cable release mount.

There are 3.party's selling 'clips' to solve the lack of cable rel. mount.

    The pic's was ok :)

I've just bought one from Kamera. Delivery not bad: less than 24 hours
from placing the order till unpacking the camera..... Price competitive
too (free delivery, for one thing). Sorry to sound like an advert :)

I was considering its predecessor, the S5000. I thought the Olympus
C-750UZ was a better option, so you might want to take a look at the 750's
    successor, the C-770UZ.

    Best Regards,
    Alex.
