Any views, a very nice deal with 2 lenses at £399 looks a LOT better than my Nikon D70 with just the one.
It's smaller, lighter & by the look of it better built!

    Anyone got one?

    Ta

Seriously: the Samsung is not too much different than the Nikon D50/70 in
terms of being based on the same electronics. The Samsung gives you entry to
the Pentax line of lenses in which there are some great bargains that
outperform similar Nikon/Canons. Hence I would see the Samsung as a real
competitor to the D50 for a first time dSLR buyer with either no existing
camera brand lens collection or a collection of Pentax lenses.
However the D70 is a more sophisticated machine than the Samsung and I
cannot conceive of a rational reason to make a switch.
When Pentax/Samsung comes out with its 10mp version (the same Sony sensor
that is in the Sony/Nikon) the switch may make more sense.
