Does anyone know of any linux drivers for this model of camera I'm using
    Slackware 12.2.

    Thank you

What do you want a driver for? Downloading image files to the computer
normally just uses the camera as a USB mass storage device, directly
supported by the kernel since 2.4.something IIRC. I think only Canon
are weird enough to force their own proprietary software on you.

If all else fails, you could get a USB card reader - it's what I usually
use, although I have used direct camera connection a few times with my
various Fuji, Pentax & Olympus cameras.

If you're wanting to do tethered shooting or something a bit more
special, that might be trickier. I think some Linux image editors and
RAW converters (e.g. Bibble) might support this for some camera models.

Does it have a USB socket, & if so, have you tried just plugging it in?
