Samsung SCD27 Camcorder Problem

    Has anybody encountered this:
    This camcorder is supposed to be able to record analog in. It says so on
    page 75 of the manual. However, after setting it up to do so, it only
    records for 5 seconds, then starts flashing "copyright protected" over the
    video feed and automatically halts recording. What the hell...? Looks like
    Samsung has blocked the process after the fact and simply neglected to say
    so in the manual and on the box. Great. Now I have a corder that is 50%
    useless to me. Analog capture was a BIG factor in picking this machine. Now
    what?
