Can anyone recommend a good scanner? I need it to be able to scan both colour and b/w (sepia too) photographs and also 35mm negatives. My budget is £200. Any advice received with thanks.

My wife gave me the Epson Perfection 1650 and it has worked a treat. I have
now scanned in a few thousand colour slides and black/white negatives.

I recently bought an Epson 3490 Photo. I've been using it
for non-photo purposes. Last night, I scanned some photos
for the first time, using the automatic settings. The
results were excellent. I haven't tried the slide scanner
    yet.

And I payed $95 in the US, so it should be well within your
budget, even with the high costs in the UK.
